Thank you!

I just wanted to give you a big thank you😁 for all your hard work at this year’s Sea Otter Classic (SOC). Pouring beer is not an easy thing to do! You get beer on your hands, you get dusty, and most of us are not used to standing all day, however it can be fun interacting with other volunteers and the international crowd the SOC attracts.

Thanks to your help, we are able to continue to support our community and international projects like the Las Granadillas Water project in El Salvador and the Everett Alvarez High School Top 100 dinner.

Thanks again and we’ll keep in touch!

You do not need an ABC card to serve as long as there is one person at the booth with a RBSC certificate. Please let us know is you have a ABC card. Once inside the event, where do we meet up?
Everyone must meet up at the main Sierra Nevada beer garden. You will then be assigned to a booth!!

Pro Tips!

  1. All shifts, check in with Kimber at the Main Beer Garden before going to your booth.

  2. Bring your own hand towel!!! Beer will be spilled and your hands will get wet. Bring a towel.

  3. Wear comfortable shoes, that you can get dirty, like hiking boots.

  4. If you are driving yourself, give yourself at least 30 minutes to hike from the parking lots to the beer garden. No joke!

We encourage cashless forms of payment or digital transactions for passes and merchandise. Point of sale systems will be sanitized regularly.

Volunteer Contact: Mark Kimber at info@steinbeckrotary.org.

Feel free to volunteer for more than one shift! Tell your family and friends!
